Due to the ongoing pandemic, the academic year of every student has been reversed and the SSC Examination has been scheduled to start on April 30, 2023, after the Holy Month of Ramadan. Therefore, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education has arranged the SSC Exam 2023 on April 30, 2023. This provides students with approximately two months to prepare for the exam and they should make the best use of this time.

Essential Instructions for SSC Candidates

  1. No one will be allowed in the examination center without their SSC and Dakhil Admit Card.
  2. Candidates should collect their admit card from the head of their institution three days before the examination.
  3. During the exam, examinees are only allowed to use common scientific calculators.
  4. Mobile phones, brought in by anyone other than the secretary of the center, must not be used inside the examination center.
  5. Examinees must arrive 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
  6. They must fill the OMR sheet with the correct Roll No., Reg No., Subject, and Center Board Code as per the admit card.
  7. The examination will begin with the MCQ exam followed by the written (compulsory) exam without any breaks.
  8. To pass the exam, students must pass both the MCQ and written exam separately.
  9. The exam will not be conducted at the examinee’s own institution.
  10. Practical examinations will only be held at their own institution.

That is, if students want to participate in the SSC exam in 2023, they must prepare for the specific syllabus and for the entire subject. The SSC examination will continue until May 23, 2023, and the practical examinations of each of the Education Boards will start on June 1, 2023, and end on June 18, 2023.
